Explore this listing of events, initiatives and campaigns to help you plan how you can take your environmental ambitions to new heights this year.
In a season of goal-setting and aspirations for the New Year, it’s a great time to pause and reflect about the ways that we can individually help to pave a brighter future for our planet.
Which area of your life would you like to practice more mindful, earth-friendly habits? What unique interests, talents and skills do you have to share that could help carry the needle forward in restoring our natural world? Are there topics you would you like to learn more about so that you can better understand how to help? What environmental causes or conservation efforts strike a chord for you and light a fire in your soul?
These are some of the questions that I have been asking myself– and challenge you to consider this new year, as well. Whether you hit the ground running with a local community effort, take part in a national campaign or global movement, or commit to a new environmentally-sustainable habit right in your own home, it feels good to make purposeful time to give some love and healing back to the earth.
Not sure where to start? The following calendar of environmental events, initiatives and additional resources might give you some inspiration as you think about how you can play an active part in 2025.
